I booked this adventure for myself, my husband, mum and aunt - we had no idea what to expect but it was a fantastic experience. Both Stephen and Lee were warm, welcoming and extremely informative on the background, traditions and myths surrounding the haggis - all true of course!! Their delivery was polished, professional and really good fun and we immediately felt relaxed and welcome. The actual making of the haggis was fascinating to learn, but nothing surpassed the wonderful lunch that we were served up, it was absolutely delicious and the best haggis, neeps and tatties that we had ever had. We all thoroughly enjoyed the brilliant company, learning of some Scottish traditions including what a Scots man really wears under his kilt!!! - and were truly sad when it was over and we had to leave. We had however been furnished with our dinner for the evening too and are now firmly in Aiofe's camp and would happily eat haggis for breakfast, lunch and tea!!!! Thank you very much for a truly enjoyable interlude, we all had a brilliant time - cannot recommend highly enough, and would definitely do this again.

It was an absolute pleasure to meet Stephen and Lee. They were extremely knowledgeable and made us feel very welcome, particularly our three year old son. The overall experience was highly informative and has inspired us to create our own haggis spice mix when we get home! We left with new found knowledge of the different constituents of haggis and full tummies after the substantial lunch. We learnt all of the correct terminology along the way and will be using our new found skills at the butchers! Thank you to Stephen and Lee for a very memorable day!

A fun experience. Certainly unique. I run food tours across the whole of Scotland in my business ‘Tasting Scotland Gourmet Journeys & Events’ and know this is something both visitors and locals will love to do. Really delicious Haggis, Neeps and Tatties and a lovely demonstration of making the dish by Stephen. A concise insight into the history of Scotland’s national dish and current ways to incorporate into meals provides the perfect balance. Will recommend.

The Haggis Experience was fun, enlightening, delicious and worth every penny. There were eight of us around the table, and we were a mixed bunch of folk not knowing quite what to expect. Even the 2 Scots in the party learnt something new, and everyone enjoyed the meal that Stephen demonstrated and produced. It’s well worth the journey if you are on holiday, or live anywhere near Glasgow or the Trossachs, even if you are vegetarian or vegan as Stephen’s veggie haggis option was also absolutely wonderful. Highly recommend that you try it.

A really unique experience, well executed by Lee and Stephen who were very knowledgeable. Being brought up in Scotland, I love eating haggis but I’d never actually seen it being made or knew what went into it. We left with a new found love for vegetarian haggis!

First time at a Haggis experience and have to say thoroughly enjoyed myself. Stephen was very informative and presented it well. The tasting at the end was amazing. Will definitely come back in the future

Wow! The Haggis Experience was one of my all time favorite things about my trip to Scotland. My expectations were relatively low before arriving on the farm as experiences tend to go one way or the other. I was happily surprised! Stephen (our incredibly kind-hearted, knowledgeable, and welcoming chef/historian/host) provided an exciting new appreciation for Scotland’s celebrated dish. From the tour of the farm to the haggis history and demonstration to the exquisite tasting, I enjoyed every moment. You’ll laugh, you’ll eat, you’ll learn - what more could you ask for? Thank you Stephen for your warm welcome and hospitality! And, of course, for the amazing meal. Will recommend 10/10! (I highly encourage Haggis Experience attendees to plan out travel before day of event! Opt for bus (stops in Balfron) or by personal/rental car)

Had a warm homely welcome with a educational and funny history of the haggis. Lunch was excellent as well. Went home with a doggy bag.

We said when we went to Scotland we would love to do local traditions and we came across the Haggis Experience …..“Yes” we are going to do this. We booked it and it was so easy to do too, we arrived at Glenside farm lovely surroundings and we had a fantastic welcome from Stephen and his son Harry. From start to finish we was welcomed so well and the experience was magical. When tasting the finished product at the end - WOW it was so delicious I asked for more….lol. Definitely worth a visit you won’t be disappointed, keep up the good work guys.

We had a great time here today. Our hosts Lee and Seamus were fantastic and made us feel very welcome. They had great humour and made their talk entertaining. The haggis itself was absolutely delicious. Great activity for all ages and we wish them the best of luck in their venture.

Jean was wonderful and the haggis was superb. I expected a tasty lunch but the overall experience was way more fun and interactive than expected. Totally walkable distance from Balfron, for those without a car who might take the bus instead. 5 stars all the way and highly recommended!!

This was definitely one of the highlights of my week in Scotland. We were a family group of six and we went for the lunch experience. Everything was very well structured and adapted to include our children who were able to get ‘hands-on’ with part of the presentation, which was very engaging and well-paced. We were served a lovely meal at the end and went away very happy customers and with a recipe for haggis!
